The rain stayed away and the course although sticky in places was not muddy. 8 laps of the 2 mile course saw Collins and Parker break away from the start and then Collins attacked and pulled a gap with 2 laps remaining. A 4 man dice for eight place won by Topliss on the run to the line Numplumz Scott losing out for 11th.

| The eight lap Senior race attracted more than 50 competitors. Dave Collins (Pedal Power), Ross Parker (Demontford), Tim Grainger (Stourport Cycles), Pete Harris (Pearce Cycles) and Simon Jones (LORC) went into the single track line. By two-thirds distance Collins had a comfortable lead ahead of Parker and it was Grainger who dropped back into the clutches of Jones and Adam Gascoigne (Melton Olympic) who contested third with a sprint finish. Gascoigne having the edge on Jones to take the spot. Pete Harris was top Veteran in sixth place. |
