|
| Yes Time
Trailing like our Road Friends but without the Traffic. The dates at Weekly Glebe playing fields starting on :- Wednesday 28th April and every other week afterwards for a total of 10 events. Start time for Seniors is 7:00pm juniors will start earlier 6:30pm, with further skills and speed tests for the under 16`s. Be there early to sign on. , all levels welcome, last year they had a 5 year old competing, think you can beat him? Changing rooms, showers and refreshments available. Great -no pressure-no mass start racing, Open to anyone to come and try, on a very relaxed basis, bring the kids but don't be surprised if they beat you. Ride any bike you like, but tyres with some grip are recommended if it is at all wet. (tubs and slicks not recommended but hey we they all like a laugh!) Enter solo or with a partner, or in family groups. Starting at minute intervals, it's you against the clock over rough terrain (OK so its mainly grass but its a lot safer than the roads) the emphasis will be on fun and the events will be very low key. Distance approx 2 mile laps, and usually 3 laps for seniors, 2 for juniors or just do what you like and try to improve the next time. For more details Mail Paul here LOCATION MAP HERE |

| Here at Numplumz we are
running a little healthy competition by also entering the Wednesday Rockingham
Forest Wheelers evening 10 mile TT's from Middleton. As this is a proper TimeTrial it has to have rules, some of them will cost you money unfortunately. So heres our recorded best Rocko MTB and KCC off-road time-trials times so far . We've even made the local press |

RFW timetrial details and rules |
|
| Rockingham Forest Wheelers Valley timetrial's run every Wednesday night 6.45pm (7.15pm from May) during the Summer and cost £1 to enter for non club members. | |
| Course Profile and Route. The start is from the Rocko clubhouse where changing facilities, showers, teas and food are available. | |
| The bike rules for the Rocko event are MTB frame, no tri-bars and 1.5 inch slicks minimum, there are NO bike rules for the KCC events, anything goes except engines. Thats the easy bit. | |
| TimeTrial's on the road require
an organsiation to
provide 3rd party insurance whilst competing, unfortunately these mean you
can't just turn up and have a go. Riders are required to be a member of any club with CTT affiliation (this covers the insurance regulations) which then covers you for any clubs time trials events. |

Of course any rider is welcome to join the RFW club, or
any Club ( Jack is a long standing member, Smiffy is a member too. ). RFW will
allow you to do a few Timetrials as a guest to allow you to find out if you are
interested. Your TT times will then count for the Annual club TT competetion, and you could even win a trophy. RFW membership form is available if you are interested. See the Rocko site for more details. |
